DEW RING | Gold Vermeil & Rhodium Plated Silver
Inspired by the melting icebergs in Antarctica and its effect on the wildlife living in the area, the Tears collection took inspiration from nature, architecture, and Chinese calligraphy to create a series of minimalist yet metaphorical designs. The Tears of Hope Bangle won the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Award in the sustainability category. This meaningful design inspired Edward to develop a collection that is dedicated to the global warming issue. Many designs from the collection capture melting details and philosophical stories from our nature.
The Dew Ring is a minimalist classic, and it captures the delicate moment when the morning dew got stuck between branches. This design is also available in 18k gold or platinum, and in a plain metal version. The shape and structure of the designs took references from the antarctic animals’ skeleton, Parametricism architectures and Chinese calligraphy. Edward poetically created a series of designs in futuristic forms and embedded them with heartfelt and tearing messages through the clever selection of materials and gemstones. Our jewellery is designed to be gender non-binary and enjoyed by everyone.
All the pieces from the collection are made with recycled precious metal, and each piece of gemstone is natural and sourced ethically. Our skilled craftsmen use century-old techniques to set each gemstone by hand to achieve the perfect finish. All the stone settings and platings are done after the orders are placed to avoid stock wastage and better protect our environment.
