Following these stunning wind or water-driven structures of sand, Edward re-discovered the beauty of the Chinese language, an ancient pictographic writing system. The Chinese character sand (沙) was created based on the form of the actual sand - an art in its own right.
A sand dune's unforgiving and alien-like texture inspired Edward to apply a matte finish to the ring. Every angle of the ring pays tribute to the Chinese language, a stroke-constructed and pictographic language.
The ring is handcrafted using 100% recycled precious metal. This ring is tested and hallmarked by the London Assay office. Please get in touch with us if you wish to customise this ring with a different thickness or finish.
